Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay's birthplace was Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MCKAY, raised in the Mormon Church's First Family, employed her creative talents and expertise in research to write an intriguing psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man Knows My History, she used both. That title was taken from a funeral sermon delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844, when he shocked his listeners by declaring"You don't know me" I never told you about my heart. Nobody has been told about my story. My history is not known by anyone. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment, at least three writers have stood up to the challenge. These documents are not lacking but they do contradict one with respect to each other. In order to assemble these documents- to separate first hand sources from a third-party plagiarism and finally, to put Mormon as well as non Mormon accounts together into an authentic mosaic, is not an difficult job. This is fascinating and educational. Fawn brodie was highly committed to the task. Thaddeus S. Stevens was immortalized by her writing and by the results of her studies. The Scourge of south (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate historical history (1974).
