Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. It is said that she's half English one-half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father is an Argentine who had Scottish and English ancestral roots. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descendance. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. They lived together within Buenos Aires from the time she reached the age of six up until the day they left for Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy said the move into London was difficult and she did not learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her school of choice after she moved from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. She dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy is a child actor and was sure she would eventually become an actor. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
