Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the star of Fox's House medical drama. As a child of very strict Jewish background she moved from Wayne into New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of Arts. She soon became part of the New York club scene and started becoming the talk of the town. The press also was impressed by her. Her experience and fame as well as her own experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show she hosted for MTV quickly became her new assignment. When Awake on the Wild Side had stopped airing, she started acting in movies as well as on TV, starting with short roles. In time, her experience as an actor was growing.
